my boyfriend insists i told him i saw a movie about two irish brothers in a gang. i guess it's really gorey and maybe includes the word 'boys' in the title. he won't stop asking and it's driving me nuts. does anyone know the name of a movie like this. (it's not gangs of new york)

Boondock Saints has two Irish brothers who get wrapped up by some mobsters and then they go vigilante against them. Has Williem Dafoe as a screwball FBI agent. Its a good movie, I'm not sure if this is the one you are refering to.

Boondock Saints is most likely it. Very good movie, a little on the gorey side, if you don't remember seeing it, I suggest you rent it together and watch it.
