No, via fact a kick isn't seen advancing the ball for field place because it skill the rigidity is over, merely as though a team punted the ball on 0.33 down, which no team could, they does no longer get it lower back. If grew to become right into a pretend field objective or if the placeholder grew to become into tackled till now a kick, then it could bring about a 4th down, extremely of giving the opposing team computerized possession.

Once a field goal attempt crosses the line of scrimmage, the defense is awarded possession of the ball if the kick is not good. If a kick is attempted on third down and does not cross the line of scrimmage, the offense can try the kick again if they recover the ball.

If he misses the football all together and it is recovered by the offense then yes, the team gets to try again on 4th down. However, if he kicks the ball and fails to make the field goal, then the ball is turned over at the place of the kick or the line of scrimmage depending on the location of the ball when kicked.

no,
the only reason the even try the kick on third down is just in case something happens, like a bad snap or something like that, but if he kicks the ball and misses that is it, the turn the ball over on downs.

no... but if there is a problem with the snap, or placement of the ball and the kicking team is able to retain possession without an attempted kick, the kicker can try again.

Nope. You see some teams kick a FG on 3rd down only to be safe in case there is a bad snap. Then, they can just fall on the ball and try it again on 4th down. But, once you kick the ball, that's it...no "do-overs!"

no. because as soon as you kick the ball essentially it is a turn over. But if there is a bad snap and the kicker doesn't kick it then he can rekick. But in reality it is a turn over because bad snaps don't happen very often.

In any football if you punt or try a field goal on 3rd down, it turns over to the other team because you are giving up your 4th down.

No. Once the ball breaks the plane of the goalline, it's a dead ball and is a touchback.
