I think I remember going through a phase when I slept with his photograph under my pillow about 30 years ago or so (eeeek, did I just give up my age??) Seriously though, he could have ended up being a two-hit wonder after SNF and Grease (oh yes, three-hits, if you include Vinnie Barbarino) -- but instead, his acting has just continued to improve over the years, and I think he's taken some interesting roles. (I'd like to see him try something a little more intense for a change, though -- a Robert DeNiro in 'Cape Fear' sort of intense.) I think the primary reason why I can still call myself a fan (without the picture under my pillow) is that he just seems like a very nice, normal, down to earth person (I try to forget about that Scientology thing) -- and I've never heard anyone ever say a single bad thing about him -- a rarity in the industry. It's hard to not like the guy.

I have a great deal of respect for John Travolta. He is a man who is comfortable with himself. He is highly intelligent, has a great sense of humor, and is not closed mouth about his love for his wife and child. I have never heard one derogatory thing about him in the media. I admire the fact that he challenges himself in his acting roles, and does not "play it safe". And, although he is not secretive about his practice of Scientology, he does not try to cram his beliefs down anybody's throat. I think John Travolta would make a wonderful, lasting friend.

How approximately neither? will no longer be able to stand Michael Jackson, and Travolta ought to no longer dance on his very own if his existence relied on it. a hundred% choreography. by no skill cared for him, the two, even whilst my friends all cherished him. good dancing? I desire Patrick Swayze, or perchance Channing Tatum in Step Up.

I LOVE HIM! He's such a talented actor, and so handsome with that dimple in his chin and his "way of being." Loved him in "Saturday Night Fever" and ever since! Face-Off was amazing!!!

Better question asked would be do you think a celebrities choice in spiritual guidance affects their popularity?
