It doesn't have to be an ecard persay but it is for a birthday. any suggestions would be appreciated.

most mail servers these days can handle HTML (MIME format). So basically if you can write your email in HTML, it should be received as an e-card with pictures and music. The one thing though is that the content of HTML can sometimes be blocked by the email provider for security reasons. But yes you can do it.

Well if u use a regular client, like yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc they won't let u write ur email in html. You need a webserver service to do some manual email manipulation (ie insert the correct header for MIME format, because regular clients will have a default setting for non-HTML emails and there's no way u can change it)
