I wanted to know if anybody could give me some information on how to gain weight

Here are some general guidelines on gaining weight safely on a healthy diet:

Eat a diet consisting of at least 300 grams of complex carbohydrates, 100 grams of protein, and around 2,500 calories a day. Include starchy vegetables such as potatoes and beans, as well as grains, turkey, chicken, fish, eggs, avocados, safflower oil, raw cheeses, nuts and seeds. Eat only whole-grain/ whole-wheat breads, pasta, crackers, and cereals.

But remember, do not eat fried foods or junk foods for extra calories. Also eliminate coffee, tea, soft drinks and anything else with caffeine.

Well to lose weight you have to burn more calories then you consume. So I would assume to gain weight it would be the opposite, consume more calories then you burn. If you have a family doctor you could consider talking it over with the doctor also. Hope this helps you out.
