Someone's got to ask something unusual once in a while , so here it is. Supposing someone would wish to have a hat made of skunk fur; would there be the unpleasant scent as when the animal is alive? The fur is beautiful so I suppose it would look nice on a fancy lady's head as much as a racoon hat, don't you think?

The problem here is that a skunk releases its scented fluid as it dies. You need to find a way to kill it without the fluid being released on the fur. Once that is accomplished, the rest of the job is pretty much straightforward.
