I am sure there was a programme on in the 90's, which involved a diner which was possibly decorated in black and white and Im sure there was a top hat involved some where along the way. It would have been a childrens comedy. I cant really remember much else from it and I know theres not much to go on but I wondered if anyone else remember anything simular to this or if any one will know if such a programme existed or if its my mind playing ricks as I get old lol. Thanks

I remember a diner in which everything was black and white and there was a top hat that talked to you and led you to a table made of marzipan and chocolate and poured you drinks of popcorn and treacle. There were dancing girls but they weren't girls, they had can can legs but ostrich bodies and necks and heads and you clapped when they had finished but your hands were boxing gloves that never met properly but seemed to over lap and then you turned into some kind of snake or wisp of smoke and sailed up and up and up for what seemed like forever and you were looking down on everyone in the room and they were moving so slowly, so so slowly and you were made of neon or may be that was just the first time I had some mushrooms from Graves Park...or may be it's all happening now for the first time....pass me the lighter......

The only childrens comedy type show I remember that had a diner in it was called "You Can't Do That On Television" The diner was only one part of the show and it was ran by a guy named "Barf"
Another show that had a diner in it was called "Alice" Although it was on network television, I wouldn't classify it as a childrens show.

there was a kids show on childrens itv a while back set in a diner aired around 4.30pm till 5pm you will be able to check though at www.itv.com and check for archives im sure the answer will be in there .
