His sound is raw,and when you hear a few riffs you can tell whos playing it.The GnR stuff is raunchy and kinda sloppy due to all the chemicals involved in the players system.With VR its too overproduced studio wise but still a ripping player in either band,Slashs Snakepit is a great band as well.3 way tie for anything Slash plays on.
