The yucky feel is most likely due to the oils and waste products that accumulate. There is also salt and some trace amounts of minerals. The skin is an amazing organ (yes it is an organ) it allows the body to breathe in more ways than one and luckily or in some cases UNfortunately it emits compounds that smell bad and feel yucky to the touch. But if it couldn't do that we would overheat too quickly and toxins would build up in our blood that would make us ill.

the human body rids itself of waste in four ways...the 1. large intestines---solid waste...2.the teeth---excess calcium....3. the skin...liquids and some salts....and 4. the kidney..urinary tract, (liquids).
The composition of sweat is basically body waste and also aids in the cooling down of the body as well...
With the simple act of bathing, many problems of infection and skin irritations are eliminated.
