I would come more often if my dogs could come. I love to be with them. They are well behaved, happy to make friends, and adorable.

People make 5 star restaurants that allow children. If people can stand kids, dogs aren't too much of a stretch. My dogs behave better and they are quieter and cleaner than most children.

Most people would not, but you could probably tap into a niche market if you were serious about it. You would also have to look at local health code laws to see if it's even possible.
Would you only allow in the good well behaved dogs (that smell like mint)? What about the obnoxious ones? The ones who bark, jump on people, bite, or what about those invisible fleas? Have you ever smelled a basset hound? Stinky!! I have seen a lot of dogs who are not well trained with disgusting behaviors that would be just plain unappetizing. What would your policy be for which dogs get in??

I am a dog lover. I had a pet earlier at home.
We loved him so much that we never
left him alone. He was the cleanest of all.

Cleaning is a personal perception. Everyone
thinks that his dog is best cleaned. You may
differ from the other, because he may not
be using the same kind of shampoo/
conditioner at home. He may be using some
other brand, which is not liked by you and start
hating the smell.

But when it comes to going to a 5 Star restaurant,
one may not feel the same about the other dogs
present in the same restaurant. Hygine is an
important factor in a public place, where food
is consumed. Irrespective of the amount of
love and effection for Dogs, one may not like
them to be present in a 5 Star restaurant, because
of hygine and behavior of the other dogs present.

Yep, I would dine in your Restaurant. Dogs are great, if well trained. Train your dogs, like you would your bar bouncers. They would be a great assist to you place. The American Bulldogs are Wonderful and what a conversation piece. Puppies are for sale now at Whole_tons Kennels. Purchase some of them. The are strong, dedicated, loyal, protective, beautiful , intelligent, obiediant, family orientated. Good Luck.

I wouldn't mind in a laid back fun restaurant, but I would probably be annoyed in a 5 star restaurant.

People pay good money to eat at 5 star restaurants, and don't want to see a dog scratching/shedding/licking himself/panting/possibly barking/masters who feed their dogs table food. There could be dog hair everywhere - yuck.

And quite a few people are afraid of dogs in general, or dogs they don't know.

And how would you know the dog was behaved? He might bark at everyone/growl/bite, or steal food off of plates, not like children, not like men, not like women, not like African Americans, not like Caucasians, blah blah. Dogs can be picky.

I think its a good idea, but not for everyone. I personally would prefer to eat in a animal free restaurant. But there are millions of pet lovers who drag their best buddies everywhere. I think its and interesting concept. It may work.

No. I love animals but not freaks who dress up their dogs or treat them like people. Dogs are dogs and they like to sniff butt and chase each other. Plus, I can't afford a 5 star restaurant.
