Its not so much how would you describe onions in terms of taste the question to be asked would be describe the reaction of your coworkers when you eat raw onions and breathe out the smell with mouth open of course as you slowly annuciate your words as you ask them questions about nothing of importance

Onions are a wonderful root. Early Indians are the ones who would dig up many roots to eat. Onions are also used as a poltice for colds and Pneumonia. Onions bring out wonderful flavors in soups and all foods. They are Good.

Good. Differnet types of onions ahve different tastes also. Some are hot and others are mild (sweet). There is so much you can do with them in cooking or served fresh.

Cuisine without onions is boring. They can give a little "kick" to just about any food without the long lasting burn of spicy foods like jalapenos.
