My mother had each of her 4 children of the time (there are now 5 siblings) take 1 tablespoon of black strap mollasses and 1 tablespoon of Cod Liver Oil every day. YUCK!!! We were never sick as kids, no one in the hospital, barely a cold, we had long glossy hair, good skin and healed quickly. Scrapes and bruises (of which we had many cause we loved out outside time) healed over quickly. It was GROSS - but it worked. She also had us wash everyday, but bathe in a tub once a week and wash our hair once a week which was then rinsed with white vinegar. Again, long, healthy hair, good strong healthy kids. I have never heard of this 'treatment' or 'process' before and did not do this with my own children - who did suffer from bronchitis, ear infections, skin issues, sinus infections etc. I am not sure whether we were just healthier, whether the air and water was healthier, or whether my parent's combination of genes made a sturdier stock of children! Something I have thought of often.

Of course he shouldn't force her, something like dancing should be enjoyable for a 4 yr old. He should find out what activities she likes to do and encourage those.

Nothing really that I can think of.
I may not enjoy the same stuff that I was in as a kid, but I don't really regret them.
When I was younger I used to go to church regularly and I was in sparks, brownies and guides.
I'm glad I don't do that stuff anymore.. but they were fun when I was younger.

in sol I was forced to go through with the stunts and tumbling in gym class. I couldn't do a forward roll so the coach gave me a push and I landed on the back of my head and hurt my neck.

I was forced to go to Sunday school. All of the other kids went to the city school system, I went to the county school. So in Sunday school, no one talked to me. They talked about football games (we were rival schools), classes, homecoming, etc. There was nothing I had in common with them. In church, they all sat together, I sat with my parents. I hated it.
Dragon girl....AMEN!

Dragon didn't like church because she didn't understand how people could only be Christian on Sundays. She hated hearing people talk about being Christian and knowing that they didn't carry it into their every day life.
