I had sex in mid/late July, relying on the pull-out method. I had my period in August-was pretty much normal, almost 5 days. In September I got it as well-was for like a day and a half-was normal for the first few hours maybe SLIGHTLY lighter. After that, was hardly any blood. Was over by the time I went to sleep (10). This months was normal as well though-5 days. I have some symptoms: Frequent urination, Sleepiness, Headaches, Sensitivity to noises and smells, Cravings, Dizziness, Moodiness, Weight gain
How long would I have to wait to test? I’ve had my periods. But my mother didn’t know she was pregnant with my younger sister until she was five months pregnant, because she had still gotten her period.
When would I start to show? I was 5’5”/5’5 ½” and around 117 around the time. Was of thin/skinny stature. Now I’m 124. I already kind of have a little bit of a belly, but no one really notices, except one guy. Maybe it’s just me seeing it.

Please don't rag on me for using the pull-out method. I can't change the past...I need help for now.
Also, this is kind of gross, but does like, vaginal discharge change? I’ve been told that it does...

Have you gone to the doctor? Or taken a pregnancy test? That would tell you. I don't really understand what your question is, it seems like you are wondering if you are pregnant, and going to the doctor is probabally the only way to tell, especially if you are still getting your period!

Sweetheart, go have a pregnancy test. Is there a clinic where you live that will do one for free? If not try to get the money to have one at home. You could be several months along, or you may not be pregnant at all. The symptoms that you are having do sound like the early stages of pregnancy but none of them are a definite sign. It is possible that the light "periods" that you had were not periods at all. I bled at the time that I would have had my periods with one of my babies.
You need to know one way or the other so that you can start taking good care of yourself.
If you would like to talk some more please write to me, I would be happy to listen and to help if I can.
Please do what you need to do to find out one way or the other honey, you need to know.
Love and Blessings

Go see the doctor right away, take a pregnancy, blood test and test for STD, better safe than sorry. Every woman is different and show at different times, I myself didn't get a belly until 6 mths in. You could be pregnant, but if it isn't, it could be something else. Better to seek help now and make sure all is ok. You might just be psyching yourself out. Best of luck.

Honey, if you have had your periods for the past 5 months then you are probably not pregnant. Ive had two friends who have had periods when they were pregnant. They as well as my doctor told me that when a women has her period while she is preggie it is usually light and doesn't last maybe 2 days. You said your periods were normal and lasted 5 days. More than likely your symptoms are all in your head.

You should get a test-over the counter or go to a clinic for their blood test. If you are this far along very important that you see a doc immediately to take care of the baby. There are always options such as adoption, so don't do anything drastic without talking to a counselor or another adult if you don't feel like you can talk to your parent yet.

If you take a pregnancy test, its definately going to tell you if you are pregnant or not. If you are pregnant, your body has already developed the hormone that is found in your urine indicating pregnancy.
If you are still unsure ~ Please see your doctor.
If you are a few months pregnant already ~ you need to be on prenatal vitamins pronto. Its very important for you and the health of your baby. Do not hesitate.

It does change, but I would see a doctor right away. Your family may have a trait of still getting a period when pregnant. The body hasn't gotten the message.

I believe you can take a test like a week after having intercourse. I'm sure by now it's fine. So go ahead & do that so you can prepare if you are pregnant. Good luck with everything.
