when you text, does the text you recieve count or is it only if you open it?

cause i can reply ot an text without opening it and
i was wondering if the text i was replying to couted as one

Yea, it doenst matter if you open the text or not but if it's being sent to ur phone and your phone recieves it, it counts! I have a textng plan w/ Cingular for 10 bucks a month for 1000 texts but when i didnt i believe it was 10 cents to send and recieve. Does that help?

Incoming and outgoing text messages count, you can keep track by going to "my account"

you have to open it i think...i'd double check though cuz i'm not 100% sure.
