I think there are too many choices available to everyone and they are all only adding to our stresses, not lessening them.

I would have to say yes to this question or I should say too many unguided choices. If you take for example the 1940’s, when parents were involved with their kids, drugs were almost nonexistent, teen pregnancy was virtually knell. These are only a couple of examples, what I am saying is that if parents took a more active roll in the lives of their kids then the mountain of choices would not be so bad and then choices would not seem so many. Take for example when you were told not to stick your finger in an electrical out let by your mom or dad because it would hurt you. You still could have stuck your finger in there but the guidance of your parents made it a moot choice. You still have the choice but deep in the back of your brain you don’t.

Quite the opposite, there are not enough choices abvailable to them. Far too many things that they are fully capable of doing, being, having are denied them simply because of their age. Teenagers, ALL teenagers fromthe age of 13 up should have EVERY choice available to any other adult. ONLY then will a question of available choices be a valid question. Until then, it is nothing more than a reminder of the rampant age DISCRIMINATION that they are subjected to every day.

Just as many as there have always been.....it's all relative.

There will be more choices for teenagers 5 years from now.

Yes, but with society the way it is, they need to be aware of the "real world" and how their actions will affect reactions. Parents need to teach their kids right from wrong, they need to learn respect, and how precious life, and those they care about are. As a parent myself, the day came when I realized that I had to trust what I had taught my kids. And up to that point I had no proof that they had ever listened. But they had been, so all of our regular arguments about having to go to church, never saying I hate you to anyone, and being kind and considerate were so worth it. It is a hard job, but if the right lessons are taught-it is so worth it! They really do turn out to be good people

yes, and there are too many choices available to adults and toddler too. Its incredible, but we must learn to live with them, and learn to make wise choices. For we are responsible for every choice we make, be it good or bad. So think about what you do, before you act, and understand that all your choice will have a consequence one way or another.

Yes and no. There are too many choices open to them and too much responsibility being placed on them, but if there wasn't that many choices and that much responsibility then they would be overwhealmed when they became adults.

Not really - I do think there are too many people who will say anything to teens or present any image that persuades them to part with their money
I wish we lived in a society that valued teens as future important citizens and not just as a source of revenue
When in doubt, question authority - when authority answers you with respect and patience - listen and think - then decide for yourself

I think there are to many miss leading choices for teenagers. Then eventually all there laughter will fade away when they get older. And have realized the damage, and the consequence, that they have created for themselves, and disappointments for their friends and family.Just watch as the laughter fade away.

There has always been too much choice in everything... Then again if there wasn't enough choice wouldn't everyone be complaining?
