ok.....i'm taking calculus and my professor sucks....it's supposed to be a business math application course and he's teaching straight up calc.....but anyway he said he was gonna give us a test before the final day to drop the class, but he hasn't yet, and the final day to do so is friday....let me mention that i got a D on the first test.....should i just go ahead and drop the class or should i wait and see if he's gonna give a test before friday?

If you're not happy with the class, drop it. You can always take another course with a different professor.

Before you do check around. I once dropped a class because I thought the professor was a jerk. Turned out the rest of them were worse than him. Check out the professors rep on campus if he is a jerk get out of there. If not better buckle down.

You should make an appointment to see this professor. A lot of times they'll give you a break (once they realize they're being idiots).

Drop the course. Quitting is the best strategy for success.
