The condensor coil and fan are usually mounted outdoors. The coil will have copper tubing filled with refrigerant. You will need to get a refrigeration technician to remove the refrigerant before opening the pipe. Otherwise the rest can be relatively simple mechanical and electrical work. You will need the system evacuated, vacuum tested, and refilled once you've completed the work.

Those connections are the freon lines. You need a license from the EPA to work on them in the USA. $10,000 fine if you don't have it. Since you had to ask, I know you're not licensed.
