my friend is in a same sex relationship and she just found out today that she has HPV, she is going to begin treatment. So her question is whether she can have sex with another woman if she and her partner both have the virus?

I would go to a doc for a check-up & get tested. Does she know for sure, that they both have the virus?!

What kind of treatment? If it is warts I guess they remove them, but if it is the virus, there is no treatment. I tkinda goes away on its own.

Same sex or diff sex partner...she should use some sort of protection to protect her girl from catching it too.

don't keep the virus alive any longer than neccessary
all vuruses have a life span in the body.
She could have safe sex using a dental dam and not exchanging saliva.

there's a new vaccine out "Giardisil"-- jthat protects against HPV. ust because she gets the wart removed doesn't mean that she still isn't contagious-- but since they both have it-- they probably should take precautions

if they both have the virus i don't see what the problem would be.
