Serious Answers please= How much does Passaports cost if I want to fly to Egypt?

Question

I need to know how much does it cost to for a passaport to travel to Egypt. Also, do I need a Visa to go there also ? I need to know what kind of things do I need to fly to Egypt, please, such as a passaport and a visa or just a passaport. Thank you and I need serious questions please. I am planning atrip there in June of 2007. I would like to have this all prepared within the next couple months.

I am from the united states ! So i will still need a visa ?

It cost the same to go to Egypt or Russia. Like the previous answers stated, normal cost thesae days is around $80-$100 plus the cost of the photo which you can have taken at Walgreen's, FedEx Kinko's Copy centers,etc. Then yopu have to either go into the local passport office or you can do it on line. If you need it in a hurry you can pay an ADDITIONAL $100 to get in about a week. Better hurry though, there are going to be some changes on travel and requirements for issuance of passports Jan 1, 2007. Hope this helps. On line try searching just for "passports". well i am not sure where u are from exactly but 95% of the nationalities will need a visa to enter Egypt, so u need to visit the egyptian embassy and ask about the requirements for visa application. As for the question of how much a passport costs? well i am not sure if u mean how much the trip costs or what. in anycase if you are planning to have this trip in june, prepare for a very warm weather.. a bit of humidity at night in both cairo and alexandria. so be sure to have a weather appropriate wardrobe. better also to do some research on the placed u intend to visit while in egypt.... hope this helps... it should be a fun trip
