Ok so my mom and dad dont know these people. shes a really good friend. Every body else is going. Even my bestfriend. They wont let me go. I dont know what to say. Evrey time i say something o say please she goes ok your not going. but she really dosent mean it. im really confuesed. Shes been acting weird lately. just tell me what to say to convience her. im sooooo confuesed.HELPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your parents are being careful. There are a lot of weird, bad people out there and some are parents and siblings. You said your best friend is going. Have her parents met these people? If so, perhaps you can let them speak to your mom and assure her that it is safe. Also, you must have your friend meet your mother. How can this girl be a "really good friend" and yet your family has never met her?
And always, always, always remember that if you are ever in an uncomfortable situation, call your parents to come pick you up.

You need to stop and realize how lucky you are to have parents like that. It probably doesn't seem to you like it, but, so many parents these days don't know where their kids are half the time. They are with people the parents never heard of.And they wonder where they went wrong when the child is in trouble. Not saying that would happen in your case. Just saying you are lucky to have parents that care. Maybe they could meet with the other parents and check them out.Or, maybe they are saying no for your own good.

Go for your mom. I wouldn't let mine sleep over either. Don't be so ungrateful. You mother has your best interest in mind. So what if the other girls are doing it. If they all jumped off the bridge would you jump too? Be a leader, not a follower. I'm impressed that your mom put her foot down for something she believes in. The trouble with the youth of today is that not enough parents do.

lol that sux, but my parents have done the same thing. your parents don't know this girl or her parents, so they're worried that they are bad people. that they might try to hurt you. try to introduce they to each other. bring your friend over to meet them and her parents. maybe then they'll say it's ok, but don't use the "everyone is gonna be there." it never works or "but (someone's name)'s parents is letting her go." parent's automoatically say no, because you won't get anywhere. those girls aren't your parents kids, you are and they don't care about other people, just you

My mom is just like ur parents and i agree with them, surprisingly. IF ur parents haven't met or they don't know those ppl, how can they let u, their own daughter sleep over at their house?????? U r ur parents responsibility and they love u lots......they don't want 2 lose u ...Before u can sleep and stay at some1's house, u shud be good friends with them and know them well. Good Luck!

maybe if your mom could meet the parents she would be ok with you staying. this has happened to me and instead of staying the nite there, my mom let me go to the party, but then i had to come home and my best friend stayed the nite at my house instead.

i've been in this situation before and i know how you're feeling. talk to your mom about it again... tell her that your bestfriend would be there. you could also bring along that friend home so you mom could get to know her and at the same time that friend of yours could ask permission of you sleeping over at her house. you could also leave your friend's house number so she could contact you anytime.
