Oh yea. I lived next to this crazy guy. Once he knocked on my door at 3 in the morning. Nobody was there when I answered...then, a week later, he said, hey I knocked on your door the other night (it was 3 in the fricken morning) to let you know your garage door was open.
Another time I got this tremendous water bill. He had a new pool. Turns out a neighbor saw himtaking water from my hose for the pool. The person didn't want to go on record but I knew what happened.
Then there was the time he put up a fence between our yards, so close to my trees, that I couldn't cut a small part of the yard there easily. One week I didn't cut that portion and he turned me in to the homeowners association.
What a jerk.

Yes. When I lived in Washington, I lived next door to this couple, Dennis and Janis. Dennis was normal, but Janis had some SERIOUS issues. She didn't work, so she would sit around and drink ALL day, then by the time I got home from work, she'd be completely hammered.
When she was drunk, she would sit out on the patio and yell at the top of her lungs about how Marilyn Monroe was her mother, and how she was in the war. This would go on every night for hours at a time, so I always had to call the cops on her to get her to shut up.
She'd shut up for about 20 minutes then she'd start with the yelling again. I just kept calling the cops, it got to the point where I was on a first name basis with them.
She'd get like super pissed and come beating on my door because she knew I was the one who called the cops. One time she actually pounded so hard, she knocked the door off of the door frame.
I was sooooo glad the day they moved out.

Many times in my life....we had some real buttholes for neighbors over the years

no - i can't say that i ever have (all right, i could say it but it wouldn't be true) - i have been lucky to have always had decent, kind neighbors
