I usually make some unattractive grunting noise of surprise as I jump away from it. Then I smash the hell out of the thing.
Perhaps most girls scream because they are surprised. If I had any dignity at all, my "Ggurrrrrhgu!" would be more like an "Eeee!"

here's my routine 4 finding a bug near me:
1. spaz out for like 15 seconds straight ( "OMG! AHHHHHH!, etc.)
2. scream for my brother
3. point at the bug, while the bug either jumps or flies away
4. scream while my brother tries to find it
5. scream louder when my brother DOES find it, and flattens it
6. go back to whatever im doing

I step on the horrible thing and squash it! I don't like bugs in my house!! If I scream it is only because of the way it looks -- but I will still step on it anyway!!

i dont scream for bugs, only spiders (shivers) eww those things are nasty personally im more scared of the lil bugs cuz u cant keep track of em, i dont think the big ones are that bad, i dont kill em, i let my dog out and i tought him to actually push the bug out of the house with his snoot lol

I don't scream, I am perfectly fine with them! Most girls are afraid of them or hate them or both!
P.S. I hate it when girls scream it hurts my ears alot!(and yes I am a girl too)

I grew up poor, so i don't scream. I'm actually pretty used to them. I like to trap insects and return them to nature a.k.a my neighbor's yard. After all, who wants bugs in their house?

I scream for my husband or the housekeeper. Bugs are creepy and they crawl and just typing this is making me cringe...

I scream. Girls do that because they want a "knight in shining armour" to come and "save" them. It makes them feel loved when a guy comes and is all " I'll save you!"

Well, my fiancee is scared of them, so I usually point them out to him to tease him a little, then I squish them. There was a big nasty spider once, and we took a spray bottle of perfume and a lighter and fried him.....
