I'm not left handed, but I have met many lefties..I think almost all of them..who were quite intelligent, and I just wanted to know if it had something to do with them being left handed.

No. But watch out for the ambidextrous ones!

Its a scientific fact that lefties are more intelligent than righties.
By the way, my wife calls lefties "backwards".

In tests conducted by Dr. Alan Searleman from St Lawrence University in New York, he found that left-handers can be considerably more intellectually gifted. There were more left-handed people with IQs over 140 than right-handed people - which is the "genius" bracket. This is perhaps why there are more "lefties" in creative professions - such as music, art and writing - and more left-handed astronauts and leaders than would be expected.

As a left handed person, I HOPE SO!!! But all I can comment on is my experience. For example when I was a waitress most of the people were right handed (no offense to waitresses). Now I am a Registered Nurse and alot of the Doctors are left handed and most of the nurses. But that is all I know.

No! u didnt even get the rumor right. it's that are lefties more creative than righties because they use the right side of ur brain and the answer is still No, its an old wives tale. seriously, wake up and smell the coffee. if ur leftie and u want to start congradulating urself, seriously stop its pathetic

no. im right handed and i am 3 years ahead of my class in every subject. the lefties in my class are simply/sadly average.
but lefties die 7 years earlier. thats fact.sorry

not necessarily.
lefties use the right side of the brain, which can make them more artistic in temperament.
well that's what my psychology teacher used 2 say.
that and unfortunately they R more likely 2 B Psychopaths, 2.

i dont know 2 of my friends that are leftys are pretty smart. but thenm i have another friend thats adverage. my really smart firneds are all righties though. so i guess it depends on the person. maybe a certian percentage of them are smarter. idont know. thats my opinion.
i really wouldnt kow because i am ambidextrous. so yea. but idont know maybe you could do osme reasearch on it.
