i've seen in on tv and i see the stores around. I'm thinking about trying that out. I'm not good with make-up and I don't know which brand is better. my friends suggest MAC is pretty good. Hm, any suggestions?

Hi, I absolutely love Bare escentuals. I am a makeup junkie and I love to try new stuff. About 4 years ago I ordered it on qvc. I live in Florida and with the humidity my makeup was always melting off my face," not to pretty". I also have allergies so I look like Rudolph a little . Of course the good thing about trying it from tv is that if you don't like it you can return it for a refund. Of course the people on tv and infomercials all say they love it, but then most of them are actors. The ladies on the BE infomercial are real customers, some from qvc. I can honestly say It covers beautifully. You can't see any red on my face. I have much clearer skin since I started using bare minerals, and the cost is much cheaper than Chanel or EStee Lauder or any other dept. store brand. When you buy an eye shadow,it will last forever..All you use is the dust in the lid. If you want a more intense color dip your brush in water then the lid. Color can be used on your eyes lips and cheeks. Now thats economical. In the 4 years I have used bare minerals I have bought only 2 eye brow colors, but I shared them with my mother, so they really are long lasting.If you join on the infomercial every other month or so you get free products,so if you do love it you can't go wrong. Did I mention your skin feels like silk? It is very light too,not at all heavy and no lines. I have tried other mineral lines, I told you I love makeup, but they clogged my pores. It really is a great product. That is why it is so popular, I hope you try it. I 'm sure you will like it too. Rv

I love this makeup more than any I've ever tried. On teenage girls with really good skin, you almost don't notice anything, and they usually don't like it. I have all the flaws that come with age and this is the ONLY brand I'll use. It covers, conceals, stays on in all kinds of weather, and I have no breakouts even when I can't wash it off. I travel extensively, and this stuff has never let me down.

Mineral makeup is everywhere but a lot of them have a chalky feel. Try everydayminerals.com or ebay for Zarafet Minerals or Bare Beauty Minerals and so on. There are many brands on ebay. And they're cheap.

I've never tried bare esentials, but I like Physicians Formula. Their "Solar Powder" is great, it's like bronzer and pressed powder all in one with a little shimmery highlight to boot. Plus, it's spf 20 (it has titanium dioxide in it if anyone is wondering how powder makeup can be sunscreen).

I use bare essentials everyday it's great, and very easy to put on and it feels like your not wearing makeup. My skin look great and I don't have the break out that I used to get with other makeups. My 13 yr daughter also uses it and she like it's not heavy and looks natural

I really love BE - use the whole line. You might want to get a sample on eBay to see if you like it. You will need decent brushes to get good results.

mac is amazing its great it works too especially if you have pimples.bare esentials is great to.

yeah!i have really light skin and it didnt do much!but it might work if your skin is darker!
