With the page scandal, the record high deaths in Iraq, the economic news which, depending on how you spin it, is better or as rotten as ever, are the Republicans slated to fall hard?? As well they should, might I add-editorial comment only.

I hope she's the majority leader of the House... but if not she'll still be a member of the Democratic leadership...

Pelosi should never be house speaker. She supported Studds in the 1983 sex scandal and marched with nambla. Pelosi should have resigned but the democrats made her majority leader. If they make her house speaker they make as well kiss the red states good bye.

Hopefully, she will be rendered irrelevant and replaced by someone who actually makes a fitting leader for the Democrats. On a separate note, I hope a Democrat other than her becomes Speaker of the House in '07.
