What are some good tips for a toga costume?

Go bare feet and without underware, and wear a golden rope around your waist.

This one can be tricky. If you are creative, just take a tablecloth and sew 2 strips of purple ribbon along the left side of the toga. This is the most authentic Roman style. As for the best way to fold it, there isn't one!

first, where something under it! second, secure it in some way, I would use safety pins, they hold well and if closed properly they won't stick you. Third, think about the people who will be where ever you are wearing the toga, are these people, people you wouold feel comfoprtable around if your toga came untied?

1.get a white twin sheet (they're super cheap at places like walmart).
2.put one end by your hip, wrap it around your body once and safty pin.
3.bring the extra fabric up and over your shoulder and let it hang down your back.
4.safty pin the fabric on the back to the skirt part. tada!
sandals with ribbons attached and criss crossed up your legs are great.
also, if you get some fake grapes and a wreath of leaves, you can go as dionicyes, god of wine!

do not wear a olive crown on your head, you will look like a ceaser. you need sandles. and most of the royal people had trim on the edges of the toga.

well... therez not much 2 it...u just get a white sheet sum flip flop like sandals and a small Christmas wreath and itz a done deal...lol!!!
