Sombreros really bring out my eyes and I feel so happy and carefree while wearing them that I am much more at ease with my clients.

No one has complained but my boss and HR say I can't wear the darn things.

What are my legal options?

Everything is negotiable. Have you tried other hats at the office? Some suggestions might be the Beefeater or ****** Hat. Nice brims on these hats to enhance your eyes and slim your face.

It's not a legal matter, it's a respectful matter...men are suppose to take their hats off in a building it's respectful. How would you like if a client came in wearing a baseball cap down over his eyes...because he feels more confident that way?

Many companies have dress codes. If you don't abide by the code your company has, then you can get fired. Do what they tell you, unless your rich and don't need your job. if you disobey the dress code, then your employer is gonna wonder what else will you do. So you best do as they say. You will not win.

Your employer probably has a reputation to uphold and don't want the help running around looking like goofballs.

Buy one for your boss and bring in margaritas and double bean burritos. After about an hour or so... you should be good.
