Nope, I wasn't happy when he spun. His brakes locked up and weren't working. He could have taken out Kasey when he spun but instead like the class act that everyone knows he is, he didn't do that.
He got out of his car and took total blame for what he did. He admitted that he got "greedy" and that took him out. It was a major mistake on his part and he totally fessed up to it.
Unlike some, he didn't blame the other driver, he wasn't pointing fingers, etc. He took blame for what he had done. There are a lot of drivers who could learn from Dale Jr!!

No I was not happy. I don't think he thought he had it made as you are saying. I think he was hoping for a top 5 finish is all. But at least he didn't take anyone out but himself and at least he is man enough to admit he made a mistake. Too bad some of the other NASCAR drivers can't be big enough men to admit when they mess up! GO DALE JR!

You are obvious not a fan of the sport.Sure most of the people that watch racing like to see wrecks. But to have such glee that he spun and to use an obsenity is the poorest of poor sportsmanship.
No I am not a fan of Junior but as with 3 or 4 other drivers I respect their ability to drive. As for my favorite they are Joe Gibbs Racing.
Now yes I would have cheered loudest if he had spun and taken out J.Gordon,J.Johnson,K.Harvick and who ever was your favorite.
Oh yes something came out of your mouth I'd not hold in my hand.

No, I wasn't! I do have to say that at the end of the race Dale Jr. gets out of the car and admits what happen, No whining, No blaming others. He took responsibility. What a guy!! That's racing!!

You don't know the sport. He was going for it-miscalculated. I'm not a big fan of Jr but admire any of the drivers that push it to the limit. Except for Vickers dumb@_ss move at Talladega.
