Some mothers are, if you even consider them mothers (I just consider them incubators). I'm not one of those mommy's though. Hell I bawl my eyes out when I have to take my kids to grandma's so I can go to work...lol

WOW, just wow. So if any child cries one bit, you consider the parents to be abusive? So when the child is born and comes out crying, the parents are already horrible
There are good mothers out there and there are bad ones. BABIES CRY. THATS WHAT THEY DO. As long as you are tending to their every need and they are fed, changed played with, loved and held, and they still keep crying, there is NOTHING you can do. Crying is also a way for infants to let out extra energy, its how they communicate!
ALSO, with the childhood I had - I WISH that i had just been able to cry rather than go through the crap that I did and have foster care intervene. The abuse that some kids face is horrible and whats even worse is how the system fails to help some of these kids from time to time. And the people that abuse their kids, by beating, burning locking in closets, abandoning so on and so forth should seriously be given hysterectomies

I think many people do this well-meaningly. They are taught by their family to perpetuate this abuse, told it makes the baby strong. It is hard to say - what my parents did is wrong, i'll do something else. and so they sacrifice their children as they were sacrificed.
if you nurse your baby, let your baby sleep with you, and respond to your baby's signals, you should develop such a true attachment to your child that your actions will always be guided by love - not power, fear, ignorance, anger, or more.

Yes, there are parents who are bad a parenting skills everywhere. It always shocks me to see the evil that some people can bestow on children- I don't know what is wrong with them. But, I know that I am doing the best for my children that I can, and I hope that I am passing along the inspiration to continue to do what is right for the betterment of all people. "Children learn what they live", and that is a phrase that I keep with me at all times- to remind me of the importance of the job I am doing.

I agree, some women can be heartless and careless about their babies. I dont understand some people .. when I hear about women hurting their babies it shocks me because i have four kids ranging from 8 to 11 months and I could never hurt them.. and I hurt, cry and feel for the babies that go through hell. because they never asked to be born into that life and with the system today they ignore all of it.....anyways. :( good question
