I'm a moderate libertarian, and frankly, I think most of the leadership and membership of both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party are full of it up to their eyeballs. Since the party whose beliefs most closely match mine have about a snowball's chance of getting in power, I find myself forced to find happiness in the possibility that, at least, one party wouldn't control two branches of government.

The compelling issue to both conservatives and liberals is not whether it is legitimate for government to confiscate one's property to give to another, the debate is over the disposition of the pillage.

Blind belief can be comforting, but it can easily cripple reason and productivity, and stop intellectual progress.

The left/right paradigm is a controlling mechanism to get people squabbling about issues of little or no significance.

positioned it this way, Liberals tend to think of of society as appropriate and push to do the flaws that could make society "suitable". they want each physique to make the comparable volume of money, no person to be impoverished, and there be nicely-known healthcare. regrettably, that may no longer the case. it quite is an appropriate society. in many circumstances, Conservatives tend to think of of issues slightly greater realistically, yet do in lots of circumstances flow approximately conserving recommendations the incorrect way. the finished gay marriage element nevertheless isn't on an identical time as much as the federal government to return to a decision so it quite is pointless for them to argue approximately it. it quite is not defined in any area of the form for congress, the president, or the ideally suited courtroom to make any decision. in simple terms like abortion would not have been left to the federal government and could have been disregarded, yet those are in simple terms examples. Conservatism is greater of a you do your area, I do mine. We depart one yet another on my own recommendations-set. Liberalism is a enable's help one yet another and each little thing is large recommendations-set. generally. Regardless, think of, do no longer basically connect facets. it quite is elementary to tell the place I lie, yet like I pronounced, facets do no longer remember. Vote on themes, no longer people.
