Hell no just use the first one again. Save your money for the second divorce.

Is he saying "Since we'll actually be a married couple, do you really need a ring to show your status?", or is he saying, "Why should we bother getting married at all?" If it's "Since we'll actually be a married couple, do you really need a ring to show your status?", tell him firmly, "It's a pretty solid custom in this country that married women wear wedding rings. If you don't have the money, I don't need an engagement ring with a big diamond – a plain gold band will do just fine!" If he really means "Why should we bother getting married at all? Let's just live together," reply to him, "Well, I guess we aren't really fiancés after all, are we? Shall we say goodbye to each other now?"

I'd talk it over with her. Some people would argue that the first ring is from a "Tainted marriage" and therefore is bad luck to wear for the second marriage. If you (AND her) don't believe in that stuff, then i'd ask her if shed like a new one.

I would say probably yes. Surely you don't have your old rings anymore. I hocked mine after I got divorced. It just held bad memories for me. Give her some new memories with a new ring.

that would be sweet but i dont think you should waste your money on that. why not buy her a promise ring instead, be a little different and romantic. i mean you already bought her a ring the first time around, do something different that would make her feel nice and a lot less stress on your wallet. good luck

I would think so. You're not continuing your old relationship, but starting over. Unless she wants to keep the old ring for sentimenal reasons. You better ask one of her friends....They would know! This is definitely too personal for Yahoo Answers :) Good luck!

You might want to maybe that ring is bad luck since the marriage ended before but thats something you both should decide on.

Well, possibly.
If you're on a tight budget, no. But, a new ring resembles a new chance at a fresh start for the relationship.

Yes, new beginning, new ring. The old one symbolizes your old relationship and all of its faults. Hopefully you learned how to make this one last and the first step is a new ring.
Congratulations!

Yes you should, it's the start of a new marriage-sort of.. have you ever heard "diamonds are a girls best friend" It's a small investment just don't divorce her again-it's cheaper to keep her..
