sometimes after i eat i get a terrible pain at the top of my stomach not always after i eat just some food?

Question

i have not worked what food it is. i have also been waking up early hours of the morning feeling sick an dizzy why would that be? i had that feeling a while ago and i then had my appendix out but it still happens sometimes. why?

i have seen my dr had an ultra sound nothing come back!

its not just after a large meal either

By your description it sounds like acid reflux, could be being caused by stomach ulcers, best thing to do is see your doctor and ask him and they can treat you with tagamet or axed tablets.

Try taking Zantec 75 ( ranitidine tablets 75mg ) before eating and before going to bed. Another otc medication you can try is Prilosec and do the 14 day, these both helped me greatly.

Problems with the organs in the abdominal region i.e. the digestive system, liver, gall bladder,pancreas, appendix and kidney could be the main reasons for a bad stomach ache. Gastroenteritis can give you a severe stomach ache, while stomach pain from cancer may only be mild. if this pain is after a heavy meal or meal with heavy tomato sauce or if it started when you lay back shortly after a meal, most probably is a heart burn.
eat your dinner early
use extra pillow
when you have the pain, drink a cup of cold milk or eat a raw green pepper(sweet)
otherwise , u need to c a doctor
