I have science homework, and I spent a lot of time searching it up, only to come up with omnipotence. Does it mean unlimited power or sometning else?

Omnipotence is maximal power. Maximal greatness (or perfection) includes omnipotence. According to traditional Western theism, God is maximally great (or perfect), and therefore is omnipotent. Omnipotence seems puzzling, even paradoxical, to many philosophers. They wonder, for example, whether God can create a spherical cube, or make a stone so massive that he cannot move it. Is there a consistent analysis of omnipotence? What are the implications of such an analysis for the nature of God?

Omnipotence is unlimited power, therefore omnipotency is the trait of having omnipotence, or a degree of omnipotence (altough some would say that the very idea of omnipotence in degrees negates the concept of omnipotence). It isn't a scientific term, though. It's a philosophic term, and is applied most commonly to monotheistic conceptions of God.
