It has been said that we have the best politics that money can buy. It was fascinating and tragic when the American people voted for Bush partly on the basis that he offered us $300.00 apiece in a tax cut. He certainly got "our money's worth" to use your quote effectively. Thanks for the quote. I didn't know that one. It is most timely now as we are beginning to to discover how corrupt our politics are. The big boys who run the world can buy our politicians with the money they have extorted from the world at large. Then the paid for politicians can buy us with our money. Why, so that we can vote for policies that make the most powerful more successful in their plundering, while employing our own brave young men and women in the military to unwittingly enforce their agendas. It is time to find ourselves in contempt for having been asleep while all this has been going on.

The comment about the Supreme Court justices being bias is incorrect. The founding fathers of the US Constitution were all religious men, and yet they were able to work around their religion and proclaim a government with the freedom of religion. The sad part about congress is that the people elect them. People elect the lesser of two evils to represent them. However, they do not actually represent the people, they represent their party. Someone should remind congress that with todays technology, it is easy to find out the will of the people in their respective districts....they wont use it however, it helps maintain the power of the political party to ignore it. George Washington warned the people not to go to a two party system, as it would destroy the power of the people. While there are other parties, they are considered a joke....it will be a cold day in hell before an independent wins a presidential election.

Nice. Now that the republicans have shifted strategy back to the Trojan Tax Horse, this quote is very appropriate.
