I have a boyfriend that I have been dating off and on for about 4-1/2 months I love him but that is one of things I am afraid to express to him. I also have a hard time asking him question thata girlfriend is suppose to know about their boyfriend. I don't know what it is... maybe it's he's strong personality.. and maybe self-consciously I am intimidated by that but I know that deep down inside, he is the sweetest person you'll can ever know. I planning on talking to later on tonight to reveal my TRUE self to him and how I truly feel but I ned tips/ help on how to do this. I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO ASK ME QUESTION W/O FEELING SOMEWHAT INSECURE OR NERVOUS!!! I know he is not trying to make me feel this way or doin anything on purpose. So is it me??? Help!!! Have you ever had this problem???

I'm dead serious about this: feeling the way you do is a sign that something is wrong. I have been in this kind of relationship and I made the dreadful mistake of just thinking I was being silly, or he just had a strong personality, or any other excuse I could come up with. This is not a healthy relationship. And make double, extra sure that your notion that "deep down he's a sweet guy" is NOT just a projection of your feelings for him or a deep wish of yours. I'm not saying he's an axe murderer or anything, but make sure you speak up about what you feel and what you want, and make sure he treats you with respect. Anything less is a red flag.
On the flip side, a couple of glasses of wine can help you lose the nerves and help you say what you want to say. I hope it goes well!!

I think you have to have your questions firmly in your mind, and explain if possible why you need to know. I will warn you right now if you are asking about feelings, guys get really get hung up on that kind of question, If you want to know where you are headed ask him what he see him self doing in 6 months or a year hope this helped

Send him an email...wait since you are seeing him tonight, tell him that your are uncomfortable because you know so little about him. Write down the things you wanna know on a piece of paper before you see him, and use it for reference in case you are intimidated into forgetting.

I just asked him to sit down with me one day when I had had enough of holding questions in...and decided to tell him
I let go of my fears and thought that if he WAS the one..I had to be able to ask him these kind of things...
Turns out..saying this helped me because I WANTED this to work out so I went ahead-putting my fears aside and asked himt hese questions
He then asked me why ti took so long for me to ask him and why it appeared that i looked nervous when i started to ask him these questions...and after i told him i got nervous and insecure about asking him...he told me that i shud never feel that way..turns out..every friday he ends up asking me if i need to say anything or ask him anything...
not saying ur bf will ask you every friday btu I'm sure he'll figure out a way to make sure you never feel the way youre feeling today ever again..especially as long as your in his life and with him by his side!

yes i have heard of this problem so what you need to do is to be honest and if he truely loves you he will understand
it is ok if you are afraid to not express yourself but you are going to have to eventually
