My greatest fear is having my children die before me. I can live with it because I've realized I can't control the whole world. I have faith that if it happens that is what was destined. Do I like it...no. Knowing we have limited power it helps to stay peaceful and happy in the moment.

My greatest fear has always been talking in front of large audiences; small groups are OK. I made my fear greater by avoiding this area. However, I discovered the best way to get rid of a fear is to face it. The more I practiced and prepared myself for speaking the better I got. Confidence comes with practice. I still can feel uncomfortable before an audience, but I just tell myself that it is OK. Even if the worst happened, I can handle it.

I think my greatest fear is growing old alone. And no, I have not found a way to live with it. My next greatest fear is getting into another relationship with a man I can't trust. Then comes all the spider, snakes, and creepy crawlys.
