Such as blinds ruined, can I charge the receipt cost and more for the time to go and get them? Or a hole left in the wall what should the cost be?

I am a Law Student and you need to look under Tenant Laws in your State, Im not sure which state your in or else I would of helped you.

IN canada we have the landlord & tenants act. in each prov. I'm sure if you go on line at google.com. type in your state if your in the usa, it should have imfortmation on what ever you want to do..sock to em.

there should have been a renters contract when you rented out this place ,which should state who is responsible for what
