if you need this surgery, and it sounds like you really do, then you need to have it and not worry about the cost. You can always set up a payment plan with the hospital. Most hospitals will work with you. Medicaid is also a good option. Even if you don't have many options for payment you need to remember that if you do not have this surgery you could leave those two children without a mother. I know it's easier said than done right now, but don't stress. It'll all work out in the end.

I am very sorry to hear about your problem. I don't know what state you are in, but where I am there are many different ways around this. Have you discussed a payment plan with the hospital? Do you have medical insurance at all? Some states especially if you are lower income offer some sort of assistance... some for free and some for a smaller fee. I wish you luck.

If you need a medical, as opposed to an elective hysterectomy, and you can't afford it, you may want to look into Medicaid. This is a federal program to provide medical care to those with low income.
Hospitals also often have programs to provide needed medical care for those who can't afford it. Tell your doctor honestly that you can't afford the price he's quoting you and see if the two of you can't come up with some options.

Bleeding can lead to serious problems which may lead to an emergency surgery which would be even more costly. You need to discuss your financial situation with your Dr. to see if they can set up a payment plan that you can afford. If he is not willing to work with you, then he is not the Dr. for you. Find one that will as soon as you can.

have you tried medicaid. If you make too much for medicaid but not enough for your own health insurance you can find a hospital that treats you first then charges you. Or you can see if the hospital has some form of a payment plan.

Do you have insurance? They should cover it for something like this... If not see if you can set up a payment plan and make payments. Or see if there is a clinic that can do it for cheaper or that can help out.. If all else fails hit your family members up for money...
