In the state of Texas can i break an apartment lease if I have had 2 vehicals stolen with in the past month??

If they have been stolen from the property, you may be able to claim constructive eviction.

Check your states landlord/tenant laws to be sure.

I live in Texas, and I hate to say it, it is a state where the laws and the courts favor the landlord. (I used to live in Colorado where the courts favored the tenant). It is next to impossible to break a lease in Texas without paying penalties. Usually, you have to keep paying rent until they successfully rent the apartment to someone else.

I lived in one apartment that was literally falling apart around us, to the point of being dangerous, and we still had difficulty getting out of the lease.

Read your lease, but I doubt there is anything in the lease that will let you out because your car has been stolen. You might be able to argue that because of the thefts you are concerned for your safety and demand they add lighting, better locks, etc. See if you can get help from legal aid. There are a lot of nuances to the rental laws and it is easy to mess things up.

not legally, but if you re living in an area of town that has such a high crime rate, chances are the apt owner isn't going to turn you in
