I live in southern California close to the border, in recent years the Mexican population has been growing in my city and is now 50% of the population.

Our local police were called by a wife to her home. She said her husband (a Mexican) was threatening her and her child with a knife. The man continued to threaten the cops and his family and they shot him 4 times. The man died and now his family is saying he was a “nice guy” and the cops were racists. He was recently released from jail, was drunk at the time and had prior assault/domestic abuse convictions.

The Mexican community is backing the family too. They always say its racist when a Mexican suspect is shot. But, in my area they ARE the ones committing majority of the crimes, threatening and attacking the cops. Hence they are shot more.

What is going on in our communities? Why are we saying cops are racists when they are trying to protect a mother and child? They are doing their job!

What do you think?

=chances are they are a bit racist but look who is committing most of the crime like you said. The police have families and relatives too and are out there day and night trying to protect ALL people while endangering their lives. I do not mean to say I am a fan of the police, but then again if you get in a bind...who do you call. It is like an Atheist not believing in God until they are on their death bed and suddenly they begin to pray. I do not like it either when anyone pulls the "racist" crap. And that is what it is for the most part.

You make a valid point, the race card probably won't stop being pulled out of the deck until we get rid of this whole idea of "race" itself.

I hate it whenever people pull the "racist" card. Like that Duke case? What does it matter if she's black? She would have been raped if she was white too!

I'm outraged!
