It has been 2 mths since I last got my last period (aug 13) I am usually very irregular and sometimes skip a month btwn periods, but I should have gotten it by now. I am not pregnant (took two tests and one at a doctor's office, even though I knw it was not possible) I have been very stressed lately (family death, school, not focusing, just a complete mess, no exaggeration) and my eating habits have gone from healthy to complete junk (being at school doesnt help this lol) and I have been trying to be physically active (though I haven't been lately because I am afriad it will delay my period further) Those at the health center dont think i NEEDmeds to induce my period, but i am SO bloated (for almost a month now) and I am uncomfortable, worried, and stressed! I feel like I NEED to get it SOON or i will go nuts (never thought i would say that!) whenever i lay down, there is this horrible pressure in my lower stomach and it is def bloated beneath my bellybutton what can I take to help?

You can try Provera... that's a hormonal med that you only take for 10 days, and brings on your period. Or, you could try going on the birth control pill, which will make your cycle very regular for as long as you take it. These will both need a prescription.

If you aren't up for hormonal meds, just try improving your general health. Drinking enough water and not eating tons of salt will help with the bloating, and try looking into yoga or some other relaxation technique to help you deal with the stress.

You are so worried that you have not got you period and for that simple reason your body may be delaying it. You can not induce your period unless you take a perscribed medication. Maybe you should consider taking birthcontrol to regulate your periods. That is what i did and not they are normal.

check with your ob/gyn doctor. i know women with irregular periods are someimes given "the pill" not just to prevent pregnancies, but also to help regulate your cycle. There may be some other medicine or herbal stuff you can try. Good luck!
