It could be bacterial vaginosis... often that has no symptoms apart from unpleasant smell. In some women it will go away on its own, so you can try waiting it out, or see a doctor. Antibiotics make it go away.
Also, and this may sound dumb, but did you eat onions/garlic recently? If this is a new thing, and you have been eating them, that can also do it :-)

Sounds like a bacterial infection or less likely a yeast infection. (Gardnerella species cause the fishy odor, and milky or gray vaginal fluid that many women present). Several anribiotics can clean the parasite out. All sexual partners should take thm at the same time to avoid cross infection.
A healthy vagina should have a mild odor like yoghurt or mild vinegar. The reason is that lactic acid and acetic acid are present in vaginal fluid to discourage bacteria from setting up shop. (most bacteria dislike acidic conditions. Not so yearts which are fungi.)
Normal vaginal fluid is colorless.
Less commonly, off odors can come from degerating sperm in the vaginal tract. A condom would determine that.
Hope that helps,
Doc. Dan.
Douching should be avoided.
Also, always wipe your anus in a backward direction away from your vagina and pudenda

I have heard that that can really amount to your diet, and what you are eating. Try to eat healthier foods, and not so much junk food.
Also, cleanliness is important. Make sure to wash yourself, or try using those Playtex wipes, they are useful when you are on your cycle. I think that is all you can do...and honestly, when it comes down to it, I bet he doesn't smell too great either, so don't worry about it - I mean, geez, it's not like rose gardens grow down there or anything.
Just shower daily, be clean, and try to eat healthy, and that should solve the problem. If it doesn't, maybe mention it to the doctor. Or maybe that is your normal smell. Don't worry about it too much.

Do you know any arab lady?...cleaning vaginia is not enough, perfuming that part after cleaning is what counts. So what do arab ladies do? They use small pieces of perfumed sticks which are then burnt on charcoal, the perfumed smoke that is produced is led between the legs for sometime till no more smoke.Only little charcoal is used, careful,it should be far from you.And don't forget shaving....
I have tasted and smelled it,it's wonderful!!!

Maybe you should see what HIS south end smells like, and then he can start worrying about his own odor for awhile.

You may need to douche or possibly bathe more often (as the smell could come from sweating and friction).
