I would say Yes, we are. I think the oppression is very, very underlining. I think the powers that be make it seem like we African American's have the world at our reach but, we still have to fight harder then most to achieve the same things as others.

i think of they're to a undeniable volume in that they are victims of opposite racism, often called pity or "white guilt". for occasion, at present I took a standardized attempt and there grew to become right into a community that pronounced "basically mark in case you're African American and could like your scores to be seen for the national fulfillment software," which to me reported that doing nicely could be anticipated by way of different races, yet could be seen a great fulfillment for African individuals. in any different case, their lives have more suitable very much as they have recieved turning out to be suffrage interior the previous. despite the fact that if I stay in an extremely tolerant city in California; it extremely is to no longer say that interior the final public of america racism does no longer exist - there continues to be some oppression. It relies upon on the place you're and how ignorant the folk are. And in case you propose international then...it extremely is yet another concern.

There is still some oppression, but the black people I know who complain the most are the ones who don't want to put in work to get anywhere. I understand things are still kind of hard for us black people, but truthfully if you want something bad enough you will work your butt off to get it. That's the way I see it anyway

Nope, there are plenty of blacks that have done well for themselves. The ones that claim to be oppressed have not tried to better themselves in anyway usually. The opportunities are there for all of us, some will take them, others will not. In short the quickest way to get on your feet is to get off of your ***, and the ones that claim oppression have not.

For the most part no. There are some that insist that they are, there is undoubtedly some prejudice still out there, but it is getting rare. Comedy has been one of the biggest breakers of prejudice. When one can laugh at themselves, it disarms the ones doing the stereotyping.
