6-4r-8+4r....the answer is -2

first you multp. 2(3-2r) Then you have yo mulp. -4(2-r)

2*3=6 -4*2=-6
2*-2r= -4r -4*-r=4r
6-4r -8+4r

so then you add 6-4r-8+4r
(4r and -4r cancel out)

6-8=-2
Your answer is( -2)

You first distribute the 2 to 3 and -2r. You also distribute the -4 to the 2 and the -r. You get this:

6-4r-6+4r

Then you combine like terms. You combine the 6 and the -6 and the -4r and the 4r. You do this:

6-6
4r-4r

The solutions of each equation are what you add together to get the answer. In this case, you get zero, because the sixes cancel each other out and the 4r's cancel each other out. Hope I helped!

The first thing to do is to remove the parentheses.

2(3-2r) means that you should multiply each term inside the parentheses by 2. So.....
2(3-2r) = 6 - 4r
Similarly, 4(2-r) = 8-4r
So now we have:6-4r -(8-4r)
Now remember that two minuses make a plus, we have:
6-4r -8 +4r = -2

Hope that is clear.

2 ( 3 - 2r ) - 4 ( 2 - r )
first multiply out 2 ( 3 - 2r ) and - 4 ( 2 - r ) to get
6 - 4r -8 + 4r
now combine like terms
6 - 8 = -2; -4r +4r = 0
the answer is -2

2(3-2r) - 4(2-r)
Take out the paranthesis by multiplying the numbers inside by the one outside.

6-4r - 8+4r
Notice I switched the sign in the second part. This is because you are multiplying by -4 (negative 4).

Change into addition to make it easier and so that you can move the numbers around.
6+(-4r)+(-8)+4r

Then just group the similar terms.
-2
(Notice that -4r and 4r cancel each other out.)

I hope this helps!

2 (3 - 2r) - 4 (2 -r)

Multiply 2 (3-2r) = 6-4r
Multiply -4(2-r) = -8 - -4r
Change -8 - -4r to -8 +4r
you then have:
6 -4r - 8 + 4r

-4r and 4r cancel each other out. you are left with 6-8 = -2

2 ( 3 - 2r ) - 4 ( 2 - r )

First Distribute- 6 - 4r - 8 + 4r

Combine your like terms- -2 (-4r and 4r cancel each other out)

-2 is your answer

Start with distributive properties.
6 - 4r - 8 + 4r Then combine like terms
(-4r + 4r) + ( 6 - 8)
0 + (-2) = -2

2(3-2r)-4(2-r)
= 2x3 - 2x2r - 4x2 + 4xr
= 6 - 4r -8 + 4r
= (-4r+4r) + ( 6-8)
= 0+(-2)
=-2

multiplication
finally addition / subtraction of like items
