nope- get a new card.

If you plan to use a computer for gaming, the video card is where you'll want to spend your money (moreso than system processor or other components). These days you'll want an Nvidia GeForce 6800 or better. If your system is AGP, the 7600GS is about the best you can get.

No, it is not possible to do that. Your better off buying a new video card completely. Check out the Nvidia 6600 in the PCI interface. It only cost like $30 on Newegg with 128 MB of memory. Not an amazing card but it works. Check on eBay for the Nvidia 6600 PCI OC with 256MG of memory. And if you have PCIe (PCI Express) then you in luck. You can get the latest and greatest video card!

You have to upgrade the physical car to a 64mb card or higher. I'd suggest a 128 mb card for room to grow (most of the popular games now use 128 or higher anyways). You can NOT accelerate it using software. It's a physical upgrade only.

NOT! Just do a search in yahoo shopping for one! They are an old card and there are tons of them! You can probably find one for as little as 20 bucks for 64 megs of vidram, watch the shipping fees here tho...
