Benzene is a nonpolar solvent, would you expect sodium chloride to dissolve in benzene (C6H6)?

yes it would because they bother are nonpolar as my chemistry teacher said "Like dissolves like" so polar disslves polar and vice versa.

Sexual tension = "But we musn't! It would be unprofessional!" It's when there is an attraction between two people, but nothing more. Think Mulder & Scully on X-Files. They are a perfect example. A lot of chick flicks (romantic comedies) play on this too. Everybody knows they want eachother, but neither of them ever makes a move. Well, in the movies they eventually do. Chemistry is when you hit it off with a person in a positive way, usually romantically.
