Do you know what? This answer depends on the day of the week, the time of the month, and the mood I just happen to be in. I can be a 1 in the morning while I dance around the kitchen washing the dishes and singing with the kids, and I can be a 5 at 6pm, when it all becomes too much again.

If my life and emotions were as simple as being able to categorise them as above, I would deal with them accordingly and get on with it. As it is, I take each day as it comes and hope for the best.

Four-- life is not always what we expect -- when you lose a child I do not know if you ever recover, however, like the Beatles said "a la de a la da.. life goes on" You become a different person - and than one day you wake up and your surviving children are 27 & 29 and 5 years are lost... I feel I have hurt my surviving children so very much- they not only lost their 21 year old sister they lost their mother for a long time, So I would say life is difficult but beautiful- full of sadness and much happiness- full of unexpected setback- but only when you have lost the ultimate do you realize an unfaithful husband- eating governement cheese- and finishing university and getting an MBA is just steps in life not difficulties... Difficulities we have not control over. It may be hard to get out of bed - find the desire to cook dinners but like everything else it is our choice and the choices we make.... I make mine desire to finally go on with my life.... find a soul mate... and live to the fullest - it is what I would want from my children and I know my daughter would not want me not to go on.... so plug on I do..... thanks for reading

My life is difficult enough where I wouldn't want to do two in a row, but I don't know where that falls on the scale. Many people have endured extreme hardships on earth and have not been tempted to believe suicide was a friend or a stepping stone, because it isn't.

It has got it's moments. It can be quite easy at times but quite hard at others. Also some aspects of it can be easy while at the same times others are impossible. E.g. you might have a great job but a love-life that is practically non-existent. I think that if you are relatively well-off and you are not struggling to make ends meet it life should be relatively straightforward and over the 2.5 mark. With that in mind I'd give mine a 3.5.

2, my life does have a lot of work and stress in it (I am taking 4 APs and a college course while working on college apps), but I am very close to my family, friends, and bf, so I always have people to turn to if I get overwhelmed. I give myself at least an hour away from work a day.
