Whippersnapper: an unimportant but offensively presumptuous person, esp. a young one.
I'm 56, I'm important, and I have a tattoo, so it's not just whippersnappers

Back then a tattoo was a taboo. You were either a convict or a biker(?) Back then it was also a statement. Like being in the armed forces, ect..Nowadays it's a form of art. Fashion. And it does get overdone. (think of addiction) I've seen and have friends who are tattooed out, but not covered in them.(I have one myself. ONE MIND YOU) That is absurd. think about it:If your 20 and have a sleeve, are you going to want it in 30 years? And if you still have it, doesn't it FADE IN TIME and stretch with your skin?

A form of expression...It tops the chart for trendy creative expression. Did anyone tell them that in 10 years when they get real jobs, it will hurt to remove?

I'm 27 with two tatts now. I got mine as a way of remembrance of surviving breast cancer. Mine isn't anywhere visible. It is on the lower part of my back....I think they are fine as long as they are in good taste.

I have no idea, but I'll bet most of them will regret having tattoos when they get older.

Stupidity. They will get a dolphin around their belly button, and in time it will look like a beluga whale!
