This guy is friends with my roommate and has decided he really likes me. He's just not my type, and I feel more attracted to someone else. How do I break up with him in a nice way without hurting his feelings?

ur in a procarius situation. I''d say that it depends upon ur relationship w/ ur roommate and the strength of his friendship with her. if both r strong then u can do it but ur roommate may be very angry at u. if u r a good friend to her but he's not go ahead and tell him. if u r not a good friend but he is i wouldnt tell him to harshly. this is ur roommate u gotta live w/ her so if u get her to upset she could make things difficult 4 u. it is up to u to determine the levels of those 2 friendships. I only gave the extreems but the same goes for in general. If u r equally good friends she'll get mad at u, if ur the better friend she'll be a little mad, if ur not as good of a friend, beware!!!

Whether you've dated him already or not, there is no easy way. He will be hurt no matter how nice you are. It will never make sense to him because you are his type. He'll just have to accept it. I know from personal experience having been on the receiving end of this.

tell him that you think that he is a wonderful person,and a great friend,but you think you can come closer with him as friends and friends only.that you think of him as a brother type person

ignore him as much as you can so he gets no idea, and if he asks tell him you like him but not like that.
