dogs ferrets crao too mch

well it depends on how much time and money you got. ferrets cost lots to buy and keep. my two total have cost me well into 500+ but one of them i had for a year prior to the other i got her last month. i'm house sitting one and he has cost me 250 in vet bills alone, i started watching him the day before i got my female. older ferrets have lots of health problems(so do some dog breeds).but all in all i'll never own any thing but a ferret or 6. they do require ALOT of time and attention. it's like having a 2 year old for 7 years(their average life span) but worse because they can ge into things that a 2 yr old child can't (like under your fridge!!) just do alot of research and spend time with each animal before you make your decision. all the reseach and time spent can't prepare you for life with a ferret until you have one. i love my little wuzzles so much even though they put me through some mega stuff. oh and some hints with ferrets make sure if it is a baby it has been hand raised, if you adopt one from a shelter beware many have socialization issues because they were abused or caged up all the time but with a little time, understanding and love they can trust again. i am trying to foster right now, shelters are overcrowded because people don't know what they are getting into with a ferret. please RESEARCH!!! i can't say that enough.

ferrets.. They might crap alot, but i would rather pick up ferret crap than a big pile of dog doo!!

We have two ferrets and one blue healer. So i say both.

neither, ferrets poo stinks (really!!!!!!) and dog - well, I guess Im too lazy to walk them outside everyday, but good luck with whatever u choose.

digs. ferrets will make you home smell bad. dogs can live outside and poop outsdie while ferrets can't go outside and they POOP ALOT!!!!!!!

Dogs are a lot more sociable and they don't look like rats.
